Meet The Team
Eddy started the business back in 2003 but has always been in tree surgery since college, now 22 years in the industry. He is often found driving a machine or the tractor these days, but still enjoys to wear his spikes every now and again. When he is not at work you will find him doing something with his two boys who also have a love for machinery and tractors and the great outdoors.
Jo has always supported Eddy in his business, and has run the office side whilst raising two energetic boys. She makes an awesome Chocolate Brownie and has a knack for removing splinters.
Stuart started with EJM as a sub contractor and after a few years of working on regular basis he came on full time to support Eddy with the running of the tree teams. Not only will Stuart be the first person you meet, but you will also find him up a tree. He loves his tree climbing and supports all the other climbers with their work. Outside of work Stuart loves eating chocolate and spending time with his Fiancee and Cocker Spaniel ‘Fern’.
Dale is the longest serving member of staff and he is one of the hardest working groundsman around. He is not a fan of heights so stays firmly planted on the ground, he has an eye for detail and supports his team of climbers. He is often mistaken for his younger brother, loves a good ‘Dad Joke’ and is quick witted.
In the words of Rick himself “Loves a challenge, often found in Conifers, diet based on Chicken and Rice” and he is also a very talented photographer.
You will often see Lee slogging away cleaning up all the climbers mess. A dependable Groundsman with a cheery smile and often mistaken for his older brother.
Catherine is an integral part of the EJM family, usually the first person you will speak to. She makes sure the general admin ticks over nicely.
A passionate Climber with oodles of energy and a keen learner for new techniques and systems. He is polite and shows signs of OCD when tidying up often leaving gardens tidier than before we arrived.
Shona is our new office addition joining the team a few days a week to support Jo in the office. Fox’s biscuits are her favourite!
